Initiated in 2001, the MUT Workshop (Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducers) has taken place almost every year, in various cities across Europe.
This event aims to bring together researchers and student from academia and industry worldwide to share knowledge, exchange ideas, present results and discuss perspectives on the advancement of Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducers.
The event was put on hold in 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the field of Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducers has continued to evolve with a significant number of innovations such as advanced manufacturing processes, development of new active and passive materials, and increasingly sophisticated electronics embedded in ultrasonic devices enabling a wide range of novel applications.
Beginning in 2025, the event will be re-launched to reflect the growing scientific community and provide a renewed platform to showcase advances, foster new collaborations, and explore the future of Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducers.
Topics covered by the MUT Workshop
